PUBLIC PRESENTATION SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER TRAINING PROGRAM

This fun, interactive program teaches tips and techniques to deliver information clearly, develop attractive visual aids, use case studies and stories to keep learners focused. Since those who present or speak to others at work, in public, workplace trainers must educate, inform and inspire, participants will learn not only how to transfer knowledge, but also how to create compelling content, infuse humor and build interaction into their programs.

  • Calm the butterflies

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS:

Hi, Laura! I really enjoyed your Presentation Skills Train the Trainer Program you conducted at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. I was wondering if there was ANY way you could email me the directions for the Painter’s Cup activity. I am training staff at the Child Development Center that work with a group of new 2-year-olds. During an observation, I witnessed staff just telling the children what to do to clean up after a meal. I want to use your Painter’s Cup activity to hit home with them how important it is to assist children in their learning! So, as you see, I could really use your help in getting this!!!!! Thanks!

(Then, a short time later…)

Thank you so much!!!! It worked like a charm!! They “got” it! We talked about how one offered on the third attempt, “Would you like my help?” and how appropriate it is to ask children if we can help them instead of just jumping in and doing it for them anyway because it’s easier and faster for us. I think that is an activity they will remember each time when they just tell a child how to do something and they get that confused look.

I have been a Training and Curriculum Specialist for 5 years now, and I have never attended a train-the-trainer session like yours. You took knowledge that I already had and organized it in a way that is more useful to me. Ideas you gave me that will become part of my own practices are the index card idea for activities, etc., and the appendices on the back of handouts. Thanks to adding to my collection! Best wishes, Lynn Lepley, Training & Curriculum Specialist, Family Member Programs Flight
