Blog Coach

I’m Laura Benjamin, a Colorado blog coach, blogging trainer and speaker. I help clients set up their own Wordpress blog and coach them how to post articles, choose relevant keyword phrases and integrate social media tools like Twitter and Facebook.

Would you like a blog too? Not just any blog – but one that helps you market your message, promote your business, association, career, church, club or cause?

I built my first blog in 2006 and was captivated by the benefits. Not only is it a very low-cost way to have your own website (far less expensive than those cookie-cutter website templates), but you can make it your own, get much higher search engine results, build your brand and create a community in no time flat!

And non-tekkie’s will love this – it’s not hard to maintain once it’s set up! In fact, I guarantee you that my “teach a person to fish” approach will have you blogging like a pro in three sessions or less.

I’ve set up numerous blogs and coached clients how to blog including:

  • horseshoeing and farrier school
  • mortgage and notebuying business
  • non-fiction book editor
  • relationship coach
  • executive recruiter
  • screenwriting consultant and author
  • sun protection fashion accessories company
  • real estate appraiser
  • professional photographer

Perhaps I can help you too! Please call me at 719-266-8088 and we’ll discuss your goals and ideas. I’ll encourage you to speak with those who I’ve helped. Then, if it’s a go, we’ll get started!

In the meantime, here are some frequently asked questions people want to know about how I help my blogging clients:

Q: Do you only work with clients in Colorado?

A: No, not at all. With today’s technology, there’s no reason why we need to be in the same room, much less the same state! I’ve coached clients from all over the United States and I can easily help those outside the US too.

Q: This technology stuff drives me crazy! Do I need to be a tekkie to work with you?

A: No you don’t. Most of the folks I’ve coached knew very little about search engine strategies, website, keywords, RSS feeds, etc. when we started working together. Now, they know enough to be dangerous! I have a background in communicating complicated, technical information in layman’s (layperson’s) terms so folks understand how to maximize the benefits of the technology.
